My Top 3 Priorities

  • To fairly apply the law to the facts of each case before me
  • To always be mindful of the rights of victims and the interest of public safety when handling criminal matters
  • To carefully listen to the parties and be respectful of all who come into my courtroom

UC Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law Juris Doctorate, Law (1987)

After nearly twenty-five years in private practice advising business owners and helping them resolve their disputes, I have had the honor of serving the people of Orange County as a Deputy District Attorney in the Major Fraud Unit since 2011.  I have applied my knowledge of finance and business to protect the public by prosecuting white collar criminals engaged in real estate fraud, securities fraud, and financial elder abuse. My unique experience as both a business lawyer and felony prosecutor prepares me for the next step in service to the people of Orange County, as a Superior Court Judge. I am proud to have received the endorsements of Sheriff Sandra Hutchens, DA Tony Rackauckas, numerous law enforcement organizations, over 50 OC judges, the entire Orange County Board of Supervisors, a bi-partisan majority of OC's state legislators, and many prosecutors, elected officials, and community leaders. I would be honored to receive your support for my election as an Orange County Superior Court Judge, and your vote on June 7, 2016.
