Biography

My name is Genoveva Calloway.  I have been a Democrat all my life. I grew up in a Union family in El Paso,Texas.  I            have been a West County resident for the past 46 years. I attended Contra Costa College, transferred to Mills College and did my Graduate Studies at U.C. Berkeley.   I am a retired Mental Health Program Manager from Contra Costa County Mental Health Services.  I am currently a San Pablo Council Member, on my fourth term.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I believe in Democratic values where the American dream is everyone has a job, food, housing and healthcare. Everyone should have an equal opportunity in higher education and aspire to become a working-middle class family. Because of my experience in public service, I see the need to get more people involved in our democratic process/society, by becoming involved in their communities and registering to vote.  So I pledge to work on more voter registration activities and to create/develop alliances to provide leadership development for all residents interested in getting involved in bettering their communities.  I ask humbly for your vote.
