  • Environmentally responsible emergency and long-term water supply reliability. Support ecosystem & habitat recovery programs for the Delta under the 2014 Proposition 1 bond, improved flows management (WaterFix) and EcoRestore.
  • Improve water supply reliability through cost effective and environmentally responsible local and regional actions.
  • High financial integrity standards. Avoid doubling costs with ocean desalination (marine environment risk) until all other feasible alternatives are in place.

  • To find alternate sources of water for Calleguas to supply to local retail water agencies, such as ocean desalination, in addition to State Water Project water from the Sacramento Delta
  • To increase transparency of decisions by the Calleguas board should have more complete minutes or videotaped meetings, so that residents can know what their representatives stand for
  • To have the board members increase communication with elected officials and residents of the community so we can work together to find solutions to the drought
