My Top 3 Priorities

  • Will work to expand the VCRCD programs to include environmental and conservation education and outreach to ALL landowners within the District.
  • Will restore supervisorial appointments to the VCRCD Board of Directors to reverse the recent fiscally irresponsible decision to hold costly elections that drains our limited resources.
  • Urge the District to pursue more typical conservation programs that are being provided by many other California RCDs that have significant urban population interfaces.

My Top 3 Priorities

  • Conservation and restoration of natural habitat - including projects to restore our watersheds (lakes, rivers, and streams), ultimately benefiting the health of our beloved ocean in the process.
  • Water conservation - partnering with private and public landholders to implement water conservation best practices, especially in light of the historic drought we find ourselves in.
  • Removal of invasive species - these crowd out and out-compete native species of plants and animals, disrupting natural habitats, and decreasing populations of native species.
