Mis 3 prioridades principales

  • Randon’s top priority is public safety. As a mayor and councilman he has worked with his colleagues to help make Murrieta the 2nd safest city in America (based on FBI statistics). Randon has worked to provide the resources to public safety.
  • Strong economic development is imperative for job creation. It is time to renew our focus on growing current businesses and bringing new jobs to Murrieta by cutting red tape and costly regulation.
  • Infrastructure is imperative to provide safe access and movement for our first responders and our residents. We have to improve our roads internally as well as our interchanges and overpasses.

Randon Lane and his wife, Bridget, moved to Murrieta in hopes of finding the perfect place to raise their children. In Murrieta, they found a tight-knit community that shared their values of traditional family, education and faith.

Randon has a strong background in business with decades of experience in the private sector. After graduating from college, he started working for Fortune 500 companies including Telecommunications, Inc., Media-One, AT&T Broadband, Nextel and Sprint. He understands what companies need to grow and hire new people, what will attract new companies to our region, and what entrepreneurs need to start their own business.

With a successful career in business, Randon became interested in public service. In 2006, he joined the staff of Assemblyman Kevin Jeffries, gaining valuable experience, and working with local residents on important issues. He decided that he could accomplish even more if he got more directly involved in government, and began serving on the Murrieta Planning Commission.
In 2008 Randon was elected to the Murrieta City Council and is now in his second term as Mayor. He has prioritized investments in infrastructure and public safety, and has helped make Murrieta one of the best-managed cities in Riverside County.  Forbes named Murrieta the #1 post-recession “boom town” in America and FBI statistics rank the city second safest city in the country.  Randon’s leadership led his council colleagues to appoint him to represent them on the National League of Cities Board of Directors and the League of California Cities.

Randon is running for Murrieta City Council to prioritize his Three Pillars of Quality of Life: Infrastructure, public safety, and economic development.  He will tackle the budget crisis, while making sure we continue to make the necessary investments in our infrastructure and public safety.  Putting these priorities first will help put us on firm economic footing so local businesses can grow and create new jobs for our families.
