Serving Rocklin Today:

Michele has served the City of Rocklin and its residents in many capacities. As a Planning Commissioner, Michele listens to and works with residents and business owners in making recommendations on projects to the City Council. In our community, Michele has served on the board of a non-profit dedicated to supporting our Rocklin Library and enhancing the services it provides our city. Michele is a member of several non-profits that do important work in Rocklin and our region. She is an active member of Bayside Church’s Blue Oaks campus, where she has been a ministry leader for over 8 years, and has helped to plant two new churches in the Sacramento region.

Early Service:

The importance of public service and volunteerism was instilled in Michele at an early age by her parents and grandparents. Michele is the youngest person ever appointed as a Commissioner for the City of Lompoc, her hometown. She has enjoyed learning about government, serving her community, and making a difference in people’s lives.

Real Estate Professional:

In 2003 Michele started her career in real estate, beginning first as an assistant and eventually becoming an agent and broker. She was voted Realtor of the Year by her peers in 2007 and served as President of her local association of Realtors from 2007 through 2008. Michele was also a Regional Director for the California Association of Realtors at that time.

When Michele relocated to Placer County in 2009 from the Central Coast she continued her career in real estate, listing and selling homes in South Placer County.

Michele has a bachelor’s degree in Government from Sacramento State where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at Sac State, Michele was chosen for a prestigious internship program where she worked in the executive office of a constitutional officer.

Home and Family:

Michele and Trevor are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year, and are homeowners in Rocklin’s Pacific Street corridor. They have been guardians to Michele’s younger sister Mary for the past twelve years, following their mother’s death from breast cancer.
