Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I feel that California’s 36th Assembly district is ready for a transformative leader and I believe that I have the experience, integrity and capability to get the ball rolling. One person alone cannot solve the issues in our communities on their own, nor can the issues be resolved overnight but I am resilient and the communities within the 36th district are resilient, and we can get things done together. I want to work with Assembly members and focus on common sense, what works, practical solutions to the tough issues that we are facing.

·         Homelessness

·         Public safety

·         Economic and Workforce Development

·         Protecting home ownership and renters’ rights

·         Protecting the Rights of Family, Seniors and Women

·         Advocating for Veterans & Seniors

·         Climate & Environment

·         Supporting bans on new permits for hydraulic Fracturing & Offshore Drilling

·         Cannabis Regulations, Compliance and Taxes

·         Human Trafficking & Organ Trafficking

·         Immigration

In this time when our state is faced with such issues, we need people to respond to the call for positive change. I’m going into this race knowing that the gravity of the work to be done is great and I am confident prepared to face transitions in order to create transformation. People want and deserve solutions and I’m here to make it happen.
