My Top 3 Priorities

  • 1. Address and improve the reliability of our electrical infrastructure. As MVHOA President, I led efforts with Southern California Edison and the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to revamp the electrical infrastructure in Manhattan Village.
  • 2. Support our relationships with other South Bay communities for joint projects, like the Beach Cities Health District – We are very lucky to live in a region with so many benefits.
  • 3. Focus on environmental efforts, including the protection of our coast – We are one of the many lucky communities positioned along the California coast. We must do our part to protect that coast from harm.

I am a native of Los Angeles and a third generation Californian.  I have owned a home and lived in Manhattan Beach since 2003.  My career has been in public education and additionally worked with Peter Drucker for four years.  In my most recent experience in school management I managed a balanced budget of nearly the same size as the City's budget. I am seeking to be elected to the City Council to be of service to the community.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I have voted in every election since I was able to vote - local, state and national elections.  I consider myself to be fiscally responsible and socially liberal.  I am convinced that each person's vote counts.  I monitor the performance of our elected officials and provide input on issues that are important to me -  especially fiscal accountability, environment and public education.  If elected, I would hope the residents of Manhattan Beach would interact with me in the same way - and hold me accountable for putting forth my best efforts.
