  • Increase industrial and manufacturing businesses! Bringing in new jobs and new tax revenue!
  • Building a thriving and complete Azusa Downtown. Building on vacant lots, and rehabilitating dilapidated buildings.
  • Create Home Buyer incentive programs/grants to encourage home ownership in the city.

Downtown Azusa needs fresh perspective

Summary

Downtown Azusa badly needs to be rehabilitated with a fresh look and feel!

Block 36, which the current City Council voted for, then changed their vote after public outcry, is a stepping stone, not a destination.
With the Gold Line ending in the heart of our Downtown, it is critical that we capitalize on incoming pedestrians. 
Every city surrounding ours has a thriving downtown, most with small businesses owned by residents of the city.
We need to bring Azusa up to par with the rest of the San Gabriel Valley. Not parading around that after 11 years that a vacant lot will finally get something built on it. 
With my experience in Real Estate, I know the risk and rewards associated with opening a small business and the time and cost associated. We need to ensure that the process is a streamlined as possible.
